Bone, August 22, 2025 – In preparation for the field assessment by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK), the English Education Study Program of Muhammadiyah University of Bone held a crucial preparation meeting on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The meeting took place within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) and was attended directly by the Rector of Muhammadiyah University of Bone, the Vice Rector I, the Dean of FKIP, Dr. Hj. Andi Suwarni, S.Pd., M.Hum., and the Head of the Study Program, Dian Riani Said, S.Pd., M.Pd. The event also involved faculty members and the accreditation document (borang) preparation team.
The meeting focused on the final evaluation of accreditation documents, the physical and digital readiness of supporting data, and presentation strategies for the upcoming visit from LAMDIK assessors. In his remarks, the Rector of UNIM Bone emphasized the importance of synergy and total readiness as a form of the university’s commitment to educational quality.
“Field assessment is not merely an administrative process, but a reflection of the institution’s academic integrity and professionalism. We must appear solid and ready to demonstrate the excellence of the English Education Study Program to the LAMDIK assessors,” the Rector of UNIM Bone asserted.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FKIP, Dr. Hj. Andi Suwarni, added that all elements of the faculty have worked hard in the document preparation process and in improving the quality of the study program. She appreciated the team’s spirit and encouraged all parties to maintain solidarity until the assessment process concludes.
The Head of the Study Program, Dian Riani Said, S.Pd., M.Pd., stated that various aspects—ranging from the curriculum, lecturer performance, and student services to infrastructure—have been prepared to the fullest. She expressed optimism that the field assessment would proceed smoothly and serve as a momentum for strengthening accreditation.
The meeting concluded with a technical discussion session among the accreditation team, including simulations of the assessment flow, specific task assignments, and assessor welcoming strategies. All participants declared their full readiness to welcome the assessment, which will serve as an important benchmark for the quality and existence of UNIM Bone’s English Education Study Program in the future.
