Bone, July 31, 2025 — Muhammadiyah University of Bone (UNIM Bone) has once again recorded a brilliant achievement at the national level. In an official announcement released by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Ditjen Belmawa) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, UNIM Bone successfully secured the 4th national rank in the 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) Incentive Program for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Green Future Technology (GFT) schemes.
This success is an extraordinary accomplishment, considering the intense competition among hundreds of universities across Indonesia. The Rector of Muhammadiyah University of Bone, Dr. H. Muhammad Jafar, S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed deep gratitude and high appreciation to the student teams and supervising lecturers who worked hard to draft and develop the proposals.
“This achievement proves that UNIM Bone students are capable of competing nationally, even in schemes that demand high competence such as AI and GFT. This serves as a great motivation for us to continue fostering a culture of research, creativity, and innovation among our students,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Gunawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., added that this attainment is the result of intensive mentoring processes conducted by the Student and Alumni Development Institute (LPKA) of UNIM Bone.
“We will continue to strengthen the PKM development ecosystem so that more students are able to produce innovative works that benefit the community,” he added.
Securing the 4th national rank not only brings pride to the UNIM Bone academic community but also serves as clear evidence of the advancing quality of education and student development within Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) in eastern Indonesia.
With this milestone, Muhammadiyah University of Bone further strengthens its position as a progressive university in nurturing an innovative and adaptive young generation ready to face future challenges, particularly in the fields of technology and the environment.
