UNIM Bone Officially Dispatches 21 Students for KKN MAS Program in Riau Province

The send-off ceremony took place at the UNIM Bone campus courtyard and was led directly by the Rector of UNIM Bone, accompanied by university executives and representatives from the Institute for Research, Publishing, and Community Service (LP3M). In his remarks, the Rector expressed high hopes that the students would serve as campus ambassadors capable of implementing their knowledge, Islamic values, and the spirit of community service.

“This KKN MAS is not only a platform for service but also a means to strengthen cooperation among students from Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA) across Indonesia. UNIM Bone students are expected to uphold the university’s reputation, demonstrate dedication, and create synergy with the people of Riau,” stated the Rector of UNIM Bone in his speech.

The 2025 KKN MAS program is a collaborative effort between PTMAs, with participants placed in various areas across Siak Regency, Riau. Students will carry out several work programs, such as public health education, digital literacy, rural potential development, MSME empowerment, and religious and socio-community training.

LP3M UNIM Bone also emphasized the importance of ethics, cultural tolerance, and the students’ ability to adapt while being amidst a community with its distinct Malay customs and culture.

With a spirit of service and enlightening mission (dakwah pencerahan), the participation of UNIM Bone students in the 2025 KKN MAS is expected to provide a positive impact and strengthen the tangible contribution of Muhammadiyah Higher Education in nation-building through direct community service.
